Bodysurfing on a Bus

I just got back from a 9-day missions adventure with students to Creel, MEXICO. Several of the students with me were junior highers. I love junior high ministry because of their unstoppable energy, quirky moments, and zealous gusto and enthusiasm for life. There was a leg of our journey that students are still talking about when a dance party broke out on the bus. I thought the following footage captured the essence of junior high ministry well…

The student’s parents were on board and were cool with the whole thing (otherwise I probably wouldn’t have been allowed to let it happen without losing my job/credibility). Point your fingers if you must, but we weren’t breaking any local laws and didn’t feel like anyone was endangered in the process.

Junior high ministry lives on!
