The Ooze

I don’t want to gross anyone out — seriously — but if you would feel inclined to intercede for me, I definitely have a big, oozing, raw, open spot on my right arm that you could focus your prayers on for the next few days.

The doctor that was on for walk-in appointments yesterday had never seen anything like it. It is a couple inches wide, open, and has been oozing and secreting since Sunday night’s concert. Extremely gross, I know! I’ve went through several drenched bandages since then and am planning on picking up some gauze sometime this morning. The doctor prescribed me an antibiotic to stop what he assumes is some kind of fungal infection, which will most likely stop the oozing. He also referred me to the in-house dermatologist, but when I was checking out and trying to make my appointment, the lady at the front desk simply said that the dermatologist was booked and that I could not make an appointment at this time. Hmmmm…

So anyhow, I’m walking around now feeling like a prop-piece for some B-grade horror film called “The Ooze” or something like that. (grin) I’d appreciate your prayers for a quick “get-rid-of-this-thing”. Thanks.

shawn, this is a spider bite. !!! BROWN RECLUSE MAYBE,,, it will take a while for the oozing to stop, and it will heal up.

Hey Shawn, looks just like the spider bite I was treated for 10 yrs.ago. mine was on my chin, your spider was alot nicer than mine.
I did not get right on it as you did. I was treated with a vert potent antibiotic topical ointment and an injection. I was told that
the brown recluse does not normally hang out around here, but there is another spider that the bite and poison produce the same effects.so I say in Jesus Name thus far and no more. Father please give Shawn the wisdom and favor as what to do and where to go should you send him to and earthly Dr. but we ask you for a
miracle healing by the Blood of Jesus! No weapon formed against you will prosper! AMEN I will continue to pray until it is done.
