Jack Chick’s Tracts
When I was a kid, I always found the Chick tracts an interesting read (for the uninitiated, they’re little comic book evanglistic tracts with transparently thin storylines and lots of “literal flames of hell” threats and such). Nonetheless, they engaged my young mind and the plots of many of those little stories are still seared on my brain.
