Here We Go

If you haven’t heard, the Shoup family is on the move again. We’ve made lots of amazing friends in Duluth and we love our girls’ schools, our church family, and our neighborhood. It’s not an easy transition, because of all of these things, but we feel as if it is the best one for our family. Our plan is to move back to Rapid to stay with family, work a couple of jobs to save up some money, and then move on to the next step in Deanna’s educational pursuits in the early summer.

We are moving our stuff into storage next week on Friday and Saturday, March 2nd and 3rd. Deanna, because she’s always looking out for me and my still-healing back, planned this on a weekend when I’ll be out of town. If you have a strong back and are available, your help would mean so much to our family. We’re moving boxes on Friday and the bigger items and furniture on Saturday. Also, The Living Room Youth Group at Hillside Church, where I’ve volunteered for the last year with an amazing group of leaders and students, has announced a Shoup Family Farewell night on Wednesday, March 7th. Everyone’s invited! We’d love to see you one last time to say “good-bye” and reminisce a bit before we leave town that Friday. Click here for details (Facebook Event).

Praying for you guys. We put our stuff in storage and moved in with family last month. I wish we were close enough to help you with the packing.
