Mo Money

It’s time for a new message series…

Donald Trump garnered all kinds of attention for himself in the early 2000’s by offering “mere mortals” the ultimate job interview on The Apprentice. On the show contestants competed against each other to prove who was the best manager. Trump was looking for someone he could hire to be a good manager, or steward, of his resources.

“God is always on the alert, constantly on the lookout for people who are totally committed to Him” (2 Chronicles 16:9, MSG). Being totally committed includes wisely using the physical resources He provides us. This series will look at ownership and management of the money and possessions we have and how we can be wise stewards (or managers).

This is what the next three weeks is gonna look like message-wise:

Who Owns All This Stuff Anyway? (Psalm 50:8-12)
How Much Do I Give? (Leviticus 27:30; Matthew 6:2-4; Mark 12:31-44)
Showing Hospitality…Sharing the Other 90 Percent (1 Peter 4:10)
