I received the following e-mail today from an old friend, Christopher J. Buechler. He was really too young for me to know full-well, but he was the son of my pastor while I was active in youth group back in junior high. The picture below is Christopher standing outside of the Supreme Court and praying for the end of abortion. The red tape over his mouth with the word “LIFE” written on it represents the silent screams of unborn children.

Friends and family, thank you all so very much for all of your support while I was in my Bible school. God increased my love and knowledge for Him and my passion to take His saving Gospel to the nations. God has and is continuing to give me discernment as I come to a greater understanding of the amazing God that we serve. In the fall, I even had a chance to work with a pastor from my church with homeless ministries and after-school programs. The Lord really showed me the importance of caring for the poor and needy in our land.

In December, I got a call from a friend of mine in Washington D.C. He asked me if I would pray and consider joining a group of twelve men and twelve woman, bound together in unity and prayer, to plead with the Lord to see the end of abortion and send revival to America. So after much prayer and great consideration, I moved to Washington D.C.. I truly believe that we can see revival in America and the end of abortion if we are willing to humble ourselves, and truly seek the Lord for His mercies upon our land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

In the U.S. alone, 50 million children have been killed by abortions and everyday 3,200 more children are murdered. These are not just numbers, but human lives. Abortion has become such a common thing in our land, that many Christians donโ€™t even think it is wrong anymore or even care to pray to see it come to an end. I even admit that I rarely prayed for the end of abortion and just now have my eyes been truly opened to this atrocity happening in our very own land.

Friends and family I plead with you to join me in prayer and fasting to see the end of abortion and revival in our land. Abortion truly is a holocaust in our land. And we must see it ended and continue to cry out to God until it is ended. Let me ask you a question. If your neighbor was murdering his children or school shootings were happening every day in the schools that your kids go to, what would you do to see it come to an end? Would you pray?

Elijah was a man just like us, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit. (James 5:17-18)

When your nation is the most influential nation in the world, and that nation is in danger of destruction, do we not gather every man, woman, and child and call a fast unto our Lord, and cry out for Him to end abortion and pour His mercy upon our land? Read Joel 2.

It is no shocking news to say that we need God in our land, when we see the shootings happening every week in our schools. But more than just knowing what we need, what are we doing to bring that about?

If you are interested in learning more or want to join us with what we are doing you should go to these two websites: www.ywamdc.com and at www.jhop.org.

P.S. Did you know that 100,000 abortions are done every day and in the world and 42 million are aborted in a year?
Once America ends abortion, the whole world will start to end abortion. America is just the beginning.
